Accessibility Statement
Last updated: July 25, 2026
Our commitment
Early literacy is for every child, and this platform should be usable by every educator. Yilmaz Education LLC is committed to making both this website and the Literacy Assessments platform accessible, targetingWeb Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, level AA.
Conformance status
This website is built to WCAG 2.1 AA: every page passes automated accessibility audits at 100, all color pairs meet AA contrast, and the site is fully keyboard-navigable with visible focus states. The Literacy Assessments platform targets the same standard; we review it against WCAG 2.1 AA as each new grade level ships, and remediation of anything found is part of normal development, not a separate backlog.
Measures we take
Semantic HTML with one heading hierarchy per page; alt text on all meaningful images; AA-verified color tokens; keyboard operability and visible focus indicators; no third-party scripts that could inject inaccessible content; automated accessibility checks (Lighthouse) as a required gate in our deployment pipeline; manual checks with keyboard and screen reader on new pages.
Known limitations
We are not currently aware of WCAG 2.1 AA conformance gaps on this website. Portions of the Literacy Assessments application are under active accessibility review as new grade levels are developed. If you encounter a barrier, please tell us — we treat accessibility reports with the same priority as functional bugs.

Assessment approach & review
We assess through self-evaluation: automated audits on every deployment plus manual keyboard and screen-reader passes on new functionality. This statement is reviewed at least annually. Last reviewed: July 25, 2026.
