Yilmaz Education LLC is a founder-led education-technology company focused on early literacy.

We build Literacy Assessments, an early literacy assessment platform for 4K, Kindergarten, and Grade 1 classrooms, with grades 2–3 in active development. Teachers use it to assess discrete literacy skills — print concepts, phonological awareness, phonics — to track growth across collection windows, and to turn what they learn into small-group instruction and progress reports.

Why early literacy

Early literacy is where we've chosen to do our work. The foundational skills are discrete: they can be assessed one at a time, taught in small groups, and watched as they grow. Teachers deserve tools built around that reality — not another data system that collects much and changes little.

What we believe

• Built by educators. We're founder-led and we build for the classroom first.
• Assessment exists for instruction. Data should actually drive small-group instruction — results flow into grouping tools and progress reports, not into a drawer.
• Privacy first. Student data is limited to first name, last name, and assessment scores. No demographic data, no advertising, no selling data, no training AI models on student data.

Where we're headed

We started with 4K. Kindergarten and Grade 1 are available today, and grades 2–3 are in active development. The long-term vision is plain: 4K through grade 3, statewide in Wisconsin, then beyond — a trusted, privacy-first alternative built by educators.
